ABOUT ALDONA KARCZMARCZYK
Warsaw-based photographer with many years of experience - a graduate of the Łódź Film School specializing in portrait, beauty and fashion photography. Her adventure with photography began with analog photography, hence her natural, perfect sense of working with light, the softness of film, the value of each frame. Currently, in his work, he combines both worlds: digital and analog, working interchangeably on both systems.
Participant of the group exhibition "Effect of red eyes" CSW Ujazdowski Castle 2008 and "Fashion Flash" in 2011 during Fotofestival in Łódź.
She shoots mostly on analog. Her ongoing photo essay, depicting her everyday life, journeys and the urban cultural landscape, is more personal one. She has built a distinctive body of work and has been fortunate to travel the globe on variety commissions that have taken her to some of the worlds most challenging environments. Aldona has an unobtrusive and responsible approach to her subjects, this coupled with creative work ethic has led to a rewarding career.
